So the chances are that you are in stage 1 or 2 sleep where you can have conscious thinking. Often, people who tend to be wide awake during the night find that the first change after starting the program is that they are getting more sleep but it’s not quite the sleep they want, it’s a light sleep. That is a classic first, normal change that you get but some people start with the light sleep and they’re trying to boost the quality of their sleep.
Don’t worry about it, it probably is a bit of light sleep. Don’t get up. The majority of your sleep is the stage 1 and 2 light sleep anyway.
