No, absolutely not. We want you to go back to having the life you want to lead.
You’ll soon see if things start to drop away but usually that’s not what happens. When you get back to your normal sleep routine and you’re happy with it and have done it consistently for a while, you will naturally start moving away from being very strict. You will see that you can get away with it to a degree.
It’s when you start to realise that it’s impairing it a bit that maybe having a fairly similar wake time most of the time is very helpful to me so I’ll keep it going. It’s all about what you want out of this, what your goals are.
We do have natural patterns that our bodies like and if you are going back to that and something that feels good, it’s more likely to keep you there anyway without you really having to try because after all good sleepers don’t have to do anything.
